We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofAssistant Vice President, Financial Crime Detection and Digital Enablement (DE)
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and deployment of technical product capabilities and rationalisation of product functionality.
- Perform effective stakeholder engagement and user interaction at all levels leading to informed and well-judged trade -offs and priority decisions to maximize business benefit.
- Gain insight into customer needs and championing customer's preferences in order to direct the product vision embedding latest technology ensuring product remains commercial.
- Providing support in articulating the product vision of what is to be built, and convey that vision to the agile software development team.
- Participate in the promotion and communication of the product to the wider organisation
- Clearly identify and describe product backlog items in order to build a shared understanding of the problem and solution with the product development team
- Communicate the requirements clearly and consistently with software delivery colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Map all deliveries to business value and ensure holistic picture is being communicated to development teams.
- Implement and design sufficient control environment and clearly identify risk mitigating actions, report and escalate the risk on a timely manner.
- Apply expected/agreed agile practices and ceremonies, and be advocate of the agile way of working, communicate/educate stakeholders and business
- Proven Product Management / Product Ownership experience in a complex global environment, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of transaction monitoring and payments, preferably related to Financial Institutions monitoring / Correspondent Banking.
- Proficiency in OKR, Design thinking, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development.
- Strategic thinker with a Product mindset. Strong Jira and Confluence experience.Strong focus on DevOPS delivery.
- Understanding of entity resolution, network analytics and data analysis techniques
- Proven ability in leading technology teams using agile methodology and nurturing the talent.
- Clear understanding and experience of the business requirements and should able to translate the business requirement in technical outcome/Epic and Stories.
- Investigative and/or intelligence experience covering a wide range of financial crime threat areas, including experience with Big Data technologies
- Ability to work with IT teams to deliver on tight schedules.
