We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Digital platforms operation manager
In this role you will:
- Support day to day operations of digital platforms, identifying opportunities to innovate and improve efficiency/effectiveness
- Collaborate with IT to ensure platform reliability and scalability
- Track and manage Non-Functional requirements of the platforms
- Track and manage platform technical debt ensuring that legacy systems are demised and KTLO standards are maintained
- Manage specific MSII and audit findings to ensure the platforms maintain the highest operational standards
- Work with 2LOD and Audit to manage platform level risks and issues
- Support development and execution of the digital platform strategy aligned with wider Goals
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Embrace innovative approaches to operations, where appropriate and challenge where necessary to ensure best overall outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships influence and manage global/regional stakeholders to support the business to achieve the strategy.
- Building self-knowledge across a number of different businesses and functions and bringing different parts of the organisation together to deliver strategy
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in operations management or risk management
- Utilizing data and tools to improve operational efficiency
- Relationship management and influencing skills
- Previous experience in similar roles in a Digital Environment with experience of change programmes, within the financial services industry.
- Experience in operations management or a risk background is beneficial.
- Good understanding of HSBC values, behaviours, processes and objectives
- Strong knowledge of HSBC's Global businesses and functions
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across the organization, challenging when necessary to ensure a balanced approach.
- Experience of developing successful engagement, communications and training strategies for global programmes / projects.
- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
- The ability to understand the bigger picture and connect the dots where necessary to understand change impacts and opportunities
- The ability to learn quickly and digest information, whilst being able to break down complex issues and explain to stakeholders
- Bring structure to ambiguous situations and problems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at various levels
- High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives
- Demonstrate agile, innovative and flexible approach to change delivery
