Senior Software Engineer – Pega Support and Build/Deployment Management

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Pega Support and Build/Deployment Management
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum Technology Experience: 4 years
- Minimum years of Pega experience: 1 years
- Skill Sets: Pega 8.X, HTML5, Core Java, CSS, Java Script
- Experience with Monitoring/Logging tools: Splunk, Pega Diagnostic Cloud (PDC), Grafana, Cloud technology
Job Expectations:
- Support build and deployment processes using Pega Deployment Manager
- Document Detailed Production Deployment Gameplans, that include Backouts and Recovery Plans
- Manage deployments and Pega Rule versions, ensuring process steps are adhered to
- Maintain documentation around key deployment processes, How-to's and support practices
- Provide application monitoring for post publishing and technical release deployments
- Triage Pega technical issues and failures
- Support application compliance related requests
- Work with Pega on Infrastructure updates and patches to ensure application stability
- Research Pega Performance issues and perform recommended tuning activities.
- Perform hands on recovery activities when production issues occur
- Log and monitor application incidents
- Help maintain and capture key production metrics using Dashboards such as Grafana
- Knowledge and exposure to AI/ML
