Job Summary:
The Sr. Executive Procurement will be responsible for managing global procure to pay processes, contract lifecycle, documentation, reporting, ERP etc. as well as to support the global procurement team/s as and when required in the procurement process.
Will assist in the development and implementation of the global procurement strategy, while also ensuring global compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies & SOPs related to procurement.
The resource is expected to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage risks associated with the procurement process, and establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire procurement process, ensuring that all procedures are followed as per the company's policies and regulations.
- Manage the ERP system and conventional bidding processes to ensure timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting contracts to negotiating terms and conditions, awarding contracts, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the global procurement team, requisitioners, and suppliers.
- Provide support to the global team in requisition and creating POs.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, including analyzing procurement data, identifying areas of inefficiency, and proposing solutions to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process, including supplier risks, compliance risks, and reputational risks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, using best practices and industry standards to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Prioritize sustainable procurement practices, including ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.
- Manage procurement technology solutions, including the ERP system and other procurement software, to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement, including ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
- Produce regular reports and analytics on procurement performance, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on contract management and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement of IT Hardware and software licenses.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and interpret data to support procurement decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
