Job Description
- Investigation and Forensics: Conduct investigations to identify the source and method of attacks, Collaborate with experts to collect and analyze digital evidence related to security incidents.
- Incident Management: Oversee the entire incident response lifecycle, including detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and learning. Lead incident response teams, providing clear direction and guidance during crisis situations. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including technical teams, legal counsel, and senior management, to ensure timely and effective incident response
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed incident reports and executive summaries for senior management and relevant stakeholders
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external security vendors to enhance capabilities.
- Threat Intelligence Analysis: Analyze threat intelligence to inform security posture and incident response strategies.
- Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategies for cyber defense and incident management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the cyber defense team to enhance skills and performance.
- Incident Response Oversight: Manage the entire incident response process, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external security vendors to enhance capabilities.
- Threat Intelligence Analysis: Analyze threat intelligence to inform security posture and incident response strategies.
- Continuous Monitoring: Oversee continuous monitoring of networks and systems for potential security threats.
- Security Tools Management: Manage security technologies to improve threat detection and response.
- Policy Enforcement: Establish and enforce security policies in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on security posture and incidents.
- Performance Metrics: Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of security operations and incident management.
- Post-Incident Reviews: Conduct reviews to identify lessons learned and improve response efforts.
- Trend Adaptation: Stay updated on industry trends to adapt strategies and technologies accordingly.
- Training Development: Implement training programs on security best practices and incident reporting
