About Shikshgraha
As part of the Inspire initiative, Mantra4Change builds partnerships to amplify our ideas and approaches across the educational ecosystem. One of our key initiatives under this umbrella is the Shikshgraha movement. Shikshgraha is a people's movement towards education equity that brings together Samaaj (civil society), Sarkaar (government), Bazaar (markets) and Sanchaar (media) actors to improve all 1 million public schools in India.The Shikshgraha movement will ensure that public schools become the best schools in the country for equitable access to education and opportunities. And all children, irrespective of background, gender and abilities, are able to dream, learn, and succeed.
About The Role
We are looking for a Communications Associate who will be part of the Ecosystem Development team at Shikshgraha. They will create stories, designs to amplify the idea of Shikshgraha, across channels.
Roles And Responsibilities
The responsibilities would involve but are not limited to:
- Design collaterals for the movement's initiatives (40%): Support design requirements for different movement initiatives & convenings (brochures, reports, slide decks, social media posts, banners, etc.).
- Social Media Management (30%): Ideate and lead the creation of daily posts aligned with movement objectives, along with the existing agency - Gnothi Seauton
- Creation and Delivery of Content (15%): Coordinate with stakeholders across teams in order to collect data, quotes, testimonials, pictures, etc. and create content for different channels.
- Support to the team (10%): Support the larger Ecosystem Development team in evangelising efforts of Shikshgraha, including convenings
- Knowledge Management (5%): Continuously build communications assets, including a photo, story, and video bank for use by all teams
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Marketing, Media or Communication.
- A bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communication, journalism, sociology, psychology or economics
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ready to travel on a need basis.
- Willingness to learn, research and innovate
- Comfort to work with ambiguity in a fast paced, rigorous environment
