Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in IT Infra / ELV Systems to support our sales team. The ELV Systems Pre-Sales Engineer will assist the sales team by supplying technical know-how, creating comprehensive proposals, and making sure that creative and practical ELV solutions are provided to meet customer needs.

Working closely with clients to comprehend their goals, developing systems that incorporate different IT Infra / ELV technologies, and making sure that suggested solutions meet financial constraints and technical requirements are all part of the job description.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Consultation:

Design and propose comprehensive IT Infra / ELV solutions based on customer specifications.

Propose the best products, services, and solutions to meet the client s technical and business needs.

Align with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide expert technical advice on IT Infra / ELV solutions.

Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to gather customer requirements.
  1. Solution Design and Proposal

Create system designs and layouts for IT Infra/ ELV systems, taking into account networking, cabling infrastructure, and system integration with other building systems.

Verify adherence to pertinent safety laws, building codes, and industry standards.

Create technical designs and configurations for systems using AutoCAD or comparable software.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  1. Proposal Preparation:

Create and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and solutions to clients, together with thorough explanations, cost projections, and technical drawings.

Collaborate closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to obtain precise product lead times and prices.

Tailor solutions to each project's unique requirements while maintaining financial constraints and guaranteeing profitability.
  1. Support Sales Process:

Assist the sales team with technical information, product clarification, and responding to customers

Attend technical meetings with potential clients

Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
  1. Coordination and Project Handover:

Collaborate with the project management and installation teams to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to execution.

Provide support during project execution to address any technical challenges or changes required by the customer.
  1. Continuous Learning and Improvement:

Stay updated on the latest IT Infrastructure / ELV technologies, trends, and industry standards.

Attend relevant training programs, vendor presentations, and product seminars to maintain a high level of expertise.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 0-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure / ELV system design, pre-sales engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure / ELV technologies and their applications in commercial, residential, and industrial settings.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, system integration, and low-voltage electrical standards.
  • Experience with vendor-specific technologies (e.g., Hikvision, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, project management, and technical teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
