Role Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Drafter at DFurn India in Kheda. The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for creating and revising technical drawings, engineering drawings, and mechanical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.The role will also involve collaborating with design engineers and production team as well as on-site execution team to develop and refine designs.
Roles & Responsibility Details- Design product in case of new requirement or new product development initiatives in firm
- Producing 3D models of new products at assembly, sub-assembly and part levels
- Implement design changes in the model and sample/prototype
- Understanding Job Requirements each time an order is created. Asking for clarity from the CRM Team
- Preparing Bill of Assembly for Sheet Metal related jobs
- Inculcate changes in drawings in case of change inrequirements , Only when it is feasible
- Leading a team/person responsible for producing production level 2D/3D Autocad drawings
- Providing inputs like rendered images of 3D CAD as per the requirement from Sales & Marketing team
- Providing them with technical details about products
- Maintain clean documentation 3D Models
- Maintain documentation of Job-wise drawings
- Making sure, the data does not leak
- Developing Google Sheet tools that makes costing of products easier and quicker
- Mechanical Drawings and Engineering Drawings skills
- Technical Drawing skills
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks is a must
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Relevant experience in Furniture industry is preferred
