The Role
We are looking for a talented Sitecore Developer to join our experienced team and help drive high-quality project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting Sitecore projects, contribute to the development of innovative solutions, and support the team in reaching its full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications and components on the Sitecore platform.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well-structured, efficient, clean, and testable code.
- Assist in technical scoping and estimation during the project pitch process.
- Keep project managers updated on development progress.
- Resolve and escalate issues as necessary.
Undertake training and certification as a Sitecore developer.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in Sitecore development ideally three or more years, with a solid understanding of the web development process and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in .NET coding and a thorough understanding of the .NET framework.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, MVC, API, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and Sitecore development best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and SDLC delivery methodologies.
- Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, TFS, or Bitbucket.
- Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, JavaScript (Vanilla or frameworks such as React or Vue), and CSS (including preprocessors).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Desirable Skills:
- Sitecore certification (highly beneficial but not essential).
