Business Analyst

This role will involve working cross-functionally to enhance service efficiency, optimize business processes, and drive strategic, data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Fit & Strategy: Collaborate with Product Managers to assess and continuously refine product-market fit from both market and business standpoints.
• Digital Marketing Support: Partner with marketing teams to conceptualize, document, and execute digital marketing initiatives.
• Business & Sales Operations: Analyze and improve existing business processes while ensuring operational efficiency and best practices.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential business and process risks that could impact revenue or operational stability, both short- and long-term.
• Gap Analysis: Pinpoint operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• AI Enablement: Support the creation and execution of an AI roadmap alongside product and business leaders, ensuring AI solutions align with business goals.
• Business Process Improvement: Continuously propose enhancements to drive operational excellence using research, data analysis, and insights.
• Competitor Benchmarking: Track, document, and help implement best practices by analyzing competitors, in coordination with the Market Research team.
• Documentation: Collect, analyse, and document business requirements related to broadband utility services.
• Data Analytics: Perform data-driven analysis to uncover insights and opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiency, and service improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, and Finance to define needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Performance Metrics: Design business performance metrics to support decision-making for project, product, and sales teams.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, industry norms, and internal best practices.
• Strategic Support: Collaborate with leadership on key initiatives such as cost optimization, IPO readiness, and strategic business comparisons.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in sectors such as IT, e-commerce, broadband, telecom, or utilities.
• Proficiency in analytics, data tools, and business intelligence platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into cost savings or revenue generation.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA from a top-tier institute (IIM, ISB, SPJIMR, NMIMS) and/or Engineering background from premier institutions (IIT, NIT, BITS).
• Experience in product management or broadband/telecom infrastructure.
• Exposure to GIS mapping, network planning, or IoT applications in broadband services.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks in the broadband/telecom industry.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
