Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Telecaller to join our Auction Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential clients, managing auction-related queries, and driving participation in upcoming auctions.

You will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and ensuring smooth communication between the company and auction participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients and existing customers to inform them about upcoming auctions.
  • Provide detailed information about auction items, processes, and terms.
  • Assist clients in the registration process for upcoming auctions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to auctions, including item details, registration, and bidding procedures.
  • Maintain and update customer records and auction participation details.
  • Follow up with leads and clients to ensure successful participation in auctions.
  • Promote auction events, products, and services to potential buyers and sellers.
  • Meet daily/weekly call targets and report outcomes to the Auction Manager.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the auction process.
  • Assist in post-auction follow-up, including payment collection and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales, preferably in an auction or similar industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of the auction industry and processes is an advantage but not required.
