We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager/Business Development Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of driving growth and enhancing our market presence. The Sales Manager/Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and building strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand customer base.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align strategies and offerings with customer demands.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior sales staff to enhance their performance.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3-8 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
