ROLE
Assistant Manager Constructionspecializing in Mechanical & HVAC systemswithin the MEP industry. The ideal candidate will support and oversee construction projects, ensuring timely execution, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.This role requires strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and project execution knowledge to drive excellence in Mechanical & HVAC systems for various projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in managing Mechanical & HVAC construction activities for MEP projects.
Support the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams for smooth project execution.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical & HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
Conduct site inspections, quality control assessments, and safety audits.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to site teams.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and progress updates for senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience: 10+ years of experience in MEP construction, with expertise in Mechanical & HVAC systems.
Strong understanding of HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning.
Hands-on experience in executing mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and project management methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Certification in HVAC design or project management (e.g., PMP).
Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable HVAC solutions.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) and other digital construction technologies
