Job Title: Social Media ManagerDepartment: Marketing.
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Location: Powai, Mumbai.
Experience: 4 - 5 years of experience handling social media marketing for D2C, e-commerce, and lifestyle brands.
Profile Summary:
The Social Media Manager is a critical catalyst for digital communication and will spearhead the social media marketing communication across all platforms.
The key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Manage social media teams and platforms end-to-end.
- Own the social media calendar and act as a team manager to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
- Monitor and track trends across platforms to scale and expand social media presence.
- Create actionable plans to grow and maintain followers across our social media channels.
- Create actionable plans to build scale the online community of brand loyalists and advocates to drive positive sentiments and considerations.
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Manage the budget allocation & pacing for all social media campaigns.
Ideal candidate:
- Will be a graduate in any field; however, a degree in marketing/mass communication and/or post-graduation in mass communication or marketing management will be preferred.
- Will have at least 4 - 5 years of experience handling social media marketing for D2C, e-commerce, and lifestyle brands, either from the brand's side or as a part of the agency.
- Will have Hands-on experience with all social media platforms covering ideation, strategy, and execution.
- Will have a proven track record of building innovative/differentiated campaigns and IPs for brand/s on social media.
- Creative flair with attention to detail
- Will have the ability to work with designers and the creative team to transform marketing briefs into social content.
- Will be good with identifying social and digital trends early on.
- Will have a solid understanding of relevant KPIs and metrics of social media.
- Will have experience in managing social media budget
