Our department is delivering build (projects) and run (support) services for the main DHL website www.dhl.com. We are setting up a new team with responsibility for the architectural runway of our product which is based on Adobe Experience Manager.We are looking for an experienced leader, who interacts with a diverse range of technical and non-technical sta keholders.
As the Lead Principal Architect you will oversee the overall platform roadmap, from definition to delivery. You will work closely with other architects to make sure best practices are applied to ensure high standards in all areas. You possess great planning and presentation skills.You will shape the direction of functional and non-functional requirements to their fruition. As part of your role you will provide leadership and mentoring to the rest of the team.
Ready to embark on the journey Here's what we are looking for:
- At least 5 years experience in an architectural role
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture and patterns
- Working experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a must
- Ability to guide architecture, design, development and operation discussions and decisions
- Extensive experience in Java and related development workflows and tools (JDK, Maven/Ant, Java libraries & frameworks)
- Proficiency with advanced Git workflows, code review processes and branch management
- Focus areas with foundational knowledge:
- Backend engineering (ideally within AEM ecosystem)
- Frontend/UX engineering
- Infrastructure
- Testing
