A Brief Overview
The Executive Director, People Success will report to the India Country Leader with a dotted line to the Divisional Vice President, People Strategy & Success, and will be responsible for scaling people policy and process enhancements, while supporting colleagues and managers to optimize the experience of working for TriNet.As the senior most People Team leader in our India operations, this role is critical in driving HR initiatives that align with our global strategy while addressing the unique needs of our workforce in India and will be a direct manager of key People Team colleagues in a matrixed organization.
You will lead, either directly or indirectly, the People Team in Hyderabad, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws while advancing our strategic objectives. Working with cross-functional partners, you will develop and implement strategies to strengthen employee relations and the workplace experience, while enriching our One TriNet culture.
You will serve as the main point of contact for escalated inquiries and concerns, employee relations, formal and informal performance management and coaching, employee well-being, and community/events efforts. This position requires the ability to move between strategy and execution, exceptional judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships across the organization.

What You Will Do- Influence and impact TriNet's employee experience and culture by providing timely and expert responses to leaders, colleagues and People Business Partners regarding TriNet People policies and People Success team processes, interpreting the policies & ensure an incredible experience for colleagues
- Coach, present, and train on company policies and relevant employment laws and cultural norms, to ensure understanding and adherence
- Provide guidance to managers and employees, resolving complex workplace issues and safeguarding TriNet's culture in line with our Core Values and policies
- Develop and implement People Team programs and drive for operational excellence in our people team programs, in a high growth and complex company. We are building our processes and policies as we grow - project management skills, understanding of risk and cultural sensitivities, as well as the ability to work through ambiguity are essential
- Risk Detection and Mitigation: Apply employee and labor relations experience to utilize data to successfully identify trends and challenges, predict and mitigate risk, and in partnership with the People Success team and cross functional partners, develop and execute solution-focused strategies and programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, e.g., Corporate Safety & Security, Facilities, Legal, Technology, Corporate Communications, to identify opportunity areas for improved policies, tools, spaces and experiences in our new and growing office
- Provide conflict resolution support as needed to various business units to help resolve conflict, promote positive relationships, improved communication, and collaboration, fostering a psychologically safe environment for and amongst colleagues
- Frequently interact with senior management on sensitive and complex matters
- Lead cooperative efforts among members of a project team
- Provide thought leadership and innovative thinking to promote TriNet's One TriNet culture while recognizing and celebrating the cultural nuances of our global colleague workforce; champion and support our community impact programs
- Problem Solve: Work independently with minimal supervision, in ambiguous situations, and persevere over internal and external barriers to drive resolutions
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion
- Manage assigned People Team members in a matrixed environment

- Complies with all policies and standards
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field desired required or
- Equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field required
- Master's Degree Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field preferred
- Typically 12+ years Human Resources, Employee Relations or related fields required
- Typically 5+ years Managing Team of HR Professionals required
- Experience working in a global organization
- Strong influencing skills, ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
- Solid work experience in broad based Human Resources with exposure to employee relations and compliance
- Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
- Demonstrates ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for acquiring results
- Capable of applying a wide range of experiences, professional concepts, and company objectives to resolve sophisticated issues in creative and effective ways
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation/facilitation skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge and understanding of both relevant employment laws and cultural norms
- Conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and coaching business leaders and HR colleagues
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
