Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamicProject Engineerto oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our Agri Fiber Conversion Unit (AFCU). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing projects in pulp and paper plants or related industries.You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of this sustainable and transformative project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation, commissioning, and start-up of the Agri Fiber Conversion Unit, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of the project.
- Oversee plant operations during the initial setup phase, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery and equipment during installation and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with the design and R&D teams to implement process improvements and optimize plant efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at the plant site.
- Train and mentor local technicians and plant operators to build long-term operational expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering disciplines.
- 4-8 years of experience in project management, with a preference for candidates with experience in pulp and paper plants or similar industries.
- Proven track record of managing installation and commissioning projects.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment used in pulping and fiber processing.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with environmental and safety compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management software is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with the installation and commissioning of pulp and paper plants or related fiber processing facilities.
- Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly industrial practices.
