Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior leader to oversee the entire IT infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and scalability, aligning technology with business needs, and managing the team responsible for maintaining and developing the infrastructure, often including cloud solutions, data centre, network systems, and security protocols; key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and monitoring IT infrastructure, managing budgets, vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Maintain the overall IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the business goals and digital transformation initiatives and ensure scalability, security, and high availability of all systems.
• Assess new technologies and trends to identify potential opportunities for improvement and cost optimization and enhance infrastructure performance and efficiency.
• Define and manage the IT infrastructure roadmap including upgrades, migration plans, and capacity planning.
• Lead the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, security, and business units, to align infrastructure with company goals

Infrastructure Design & Management:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance Highly scalable and secure infrastructure (components including servers, network devices, storage systems, data centres, and cloud environments) to support business growth.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of software platforms, databases, and applications on infrastructure systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities across the IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues.
• Manage and maintain the company&aposs on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Optimize cost and performance of cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Security and Compliance:

• Establish and enforce robust security policies and procedures to protect sensitive financial data and comply with industry regulations
• Manage security incident response and vulnerability management processes
• Implement strong access controls and data encryption practices

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure engineers and technicians.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide necessary training and development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the IT infrastructure team.

Vendor Management:

• Evaluate and manage relationships with IT infrastructure vendors, including negotiating contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor vendor performance and address any service issues promptly.

Budgeting and Cost Optimization:

• Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource utilization.
• Analyse expenditure trends and make informed decisions regarding hardware and software investments

• Expertise in designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 18+ years of IT/Infra experience preferably in the banking/NBFC space.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS) and hybrid cloud environments including cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, networking, storage, and security systems.
• Experience with data centre operations and management
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices for service delivery
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the financial services industry
