Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing operations in our Press Shop for sheet metal-related auto components. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the production process runs efficiently, meeting quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Execution:
• Plan and coordinate the daily production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer demands.
• Ensure adherence to production timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Team Management:
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Conduct performance appraisals, training, and development of team members.
• Process Improvement:
• Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Work on process optimization, reducing cycle times and material wastage.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure all products meet the required quality standards by implementing stringent checks.
• Collaborate with quality teams to resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Resource Management:
• Ensure effective utilization of labor, machines, and raw materials.
• Oversee inventory control and manage production resources.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other departments (Maintenance, Engineering, etc.) for smooth operations.
• Communicate with management to ensure alignment with business goals.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in a press shop environment, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing for the automotive industry.
