Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development - General Insurance Broker focused on B2B interactions. The role involves tasks such as insurance brokerage, financial planning, customer service, and retirement planning. The position is located in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Insurance Broking & Consultancy Services, with at least 2 years of experience in a Corporate/ Direct sales role
Strong understanding of the insurance market landscape, including competitors and regulatory requirements
Certifications such as IRDAI, III, and CII will be preferred
Excellent knowledge of insurance products, especially Non-Life /Non-Motor insurance such as Group Health, Property, Marine, etc.
Prior experience in managing a sales and broker network and a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, and work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field
Ability to develop and implement innovative product development and marketing strategies
