Founded in 2010, Ekya Schools offers progressive K-12 education through CBSE, ICSE, and Cambridge IGCSE curricula, emphasizing experiential learning. Drawing from the legacy of the CMR Group, we nurture lifelong learners equipped to thrive in a dynamic and evolving world.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, we are launching Purpose-Based Schoolsthematic schools where students develop specialized skills from a young age. The first, Ekya Nava, will focus on Innovation, Creativity, and Design, empowering students to become future technopreneurs, innovators, and changemakers.

Position Overview

As a Senior Manager - Brand & Communication, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic plans across multiple brands within the CMR K12, Ekya Schools, and CMR National PU College umbrella. Acting as a brand guardian, you will lead the creation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies that align with each brand's objectives.

This role also offers the exciting opportunity to spearhead the creative vision for Ekya's pioneering initiative, Purpose Based Schools.

Quick Snapshot - Key Responsibilities

Brand management
  • Manage all elements of the school's brands to ensure that the brand's messaging remains consistent with the values, personality and objectives and that brand guidelines are implemented consistently across all marketing activity.
  • Define the brand, communications and marketing objectives, strategies and direction.
Digital and Social Media Proficiency
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and online brand management.
  • Experience with digital campaigns, SEO/SEM, and influencer partnerships to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Ability to adapt traditional communication strategies to the digital world, with a focus on data-driven decisions.

Creative Advertising:

  • Manage and measure the school's current advertising year and make recommendations for when, where and how to advertise.
  • Produce content and campaign material for our services and reports across media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, news, AdWords, events and roundtables, email etc.
  • Lead the development of innovative advertising concepts and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Oversee the creative process from ideation to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Create templates for the various Social media handles and the post guidelines.
  • Oversee the UI/UX of the websites to ensure clear communication and easy navigation, aligning with brand guidelines.

Content Creation:

  • Develop and manage content strategies that support marketing objectives and enhance brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with content writers, designers, and other creative specialists to produce engaging content across various channels.
Marketing collateral
  • Develop new and review the existing suite of publications and make recommendations for any additional/alternative publications
  • Produce content and campaign material for our services across media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, news, AdWords, events and roundtables, email etc.)
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters in Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Preferred Industries: Advertising and Digital Industries preferred
  • Skills: Expertise in Creative and Content Strategy
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and illustration/ design skills
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker, skilled collaborator, ability to manage a small team of content and designers. Possess the ability to multitask, manage tasks with varying priorities and align with stakeholders.
  • Good to have: Minimum of 6- 8 years of experience working in a similar capacity.
