Our client is a large global leader in laser technology and are looking for a Business Development Head to further grow their business in India.
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by strategically targeting industries such as automotive, tube manufacturing, heavy engineering, semiconductor, EV and industrial automation.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, end-users, and strategic partners to drive sustained business growth.
- Monitor and manage project progress, addressing any technical or commercial challenges to meet customer expectations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 10+ years of experience in leading business development activities in driving the project to completion.
- Proven experience in solution selling, consultative sales, and handling turnkey projects.
- Expertise in working with OEMs, system integrators, and industrial automation partners.
- Excellent understanding of welding technologies (fiber lasers, CO2 lasers, TIG and MIG welding, etc.) and their industrial applications.
- Strong network within automotive, EV, tube manufacturing, heavy engineering, and industrial automation sectors.
