Job Title: Assistant Director-Talent Management and Leadership Training
Job Overview:
Assistant Director-Talent Management and Leadership Trainingis responsible for developing and implementing strategies to develop, retain, and manage talent across the organization. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to align talent management initiatives with the companys strategic goals and ensuring that the organization has the leadership pipeline needed to achieve its objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy that aligns with the companys business
objectives. Work with senior leadership to forecast talent needs and develop plans to address gaps.- Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Oversee
leadership development programs to prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles and design
a training road map.- Succession Planning:
Develop and manage succession planning processes to ensure leadership continuity. Identify key positions and
create development plans for potential successors.- Driving Assessment Centre
To initiate the assessment centre by developing the assessment tools and processes, which may include
development of the required materials, training programs, IDPs and follow up mechanisms to effectively
manage the high potentials.- Competency Metrics and Analytics:
Develop and track key competency metrics to build a talent pool for succession planning and measure the
effectiveness of talent management initiatives, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA (HR) /MHRM from a good B-schoolExperience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in talent management, identifying high potentials,
competency-based assessment centre and leadership training
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentation Skills to train across the leadership
- Content Development for the developmental programs
- Analytical Skills to analyze complex data
- Computer skills like PowerPoint, excel, word, AI tools, Canva etc
