Senior Test Engineer

Job Description:

The candidate should be able to work independently with strong self-motivation, and with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases across various testing types, including performance testing, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT and regression testing.
• Leading QA Team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test plan is within timelines.
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), including preparation of user guides and interactive materials for end-users.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through thorough testing and QA processes.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring clear understanding of product goals and requirements.
• Write and maintain clear, concise documentation of requirements, test cases, and test results.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues in a timely manner.
• Work independently under pressure with minimal supervision, maintaining high productivity.
• Design realistic and scalable performance test scripts using industry-standard performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
• Execute performance tests in various environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Test Manager, with a focus on DevOps, product management, performance testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in testing types such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Experience in designing test cases and test execution across various environments.
• Hands-on experience with QA processes, including functional testing and defect management.
• Experience managing UAT, including preparing user guides and interactive materials.
• Familiarity with Linux-based infrastructure and SQL.
• Experience with tools such as LoadRunner,JIRA, TestSigma/SELENIUM, and iSpring is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, with proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Focus on micro-learning and continuously upgrading technical skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
