JOB OVERVIEW: Being COE, Central S&OP-Demand Lead is responsible for Institutionalizing and driving S&OP and Demand-Planning to maximize collaboration, process efficiency and profitability for region.
KEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL Senior Leadership, Marketing/ BD/ Sales, Program Management, SCM, Production, QA / QC, Finance, GBSS, Regulatory and HR & Administration
KEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL Consulting service providers and AuditorsREPORTING STRUCTURE: (Reports To/ Direct Reports Y/N)
Reports directly to India IBP Head
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
Graduate/Post Graduate in Pharmacy/ Engineering, Post Graduate in Supply Chain wih relevant experience of more than 8 years.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Shall have independently lead S&OP and Demand Planning function of manufacturing unit involved in drug products for 4 years.
S&OP Process Management:Lead the Regional end-to-end S&OP process, ensuring alignment of sales forecasts, inventory management, production planning, and financial targets.
Coordinate & Execute monthly S&OP for region, conclude & execute critical decisions for identified risk, opportunity and associated mitigation/actions plans.
Highlight budget vs LOS performance gaps and coordinate for short to medium term tactical plans to meet targets.
Track action plans to meet/ improve SCM KPIs- OTIF, Forecast accuracy, backorders, C vs A, Inventory days, etc. across sites.
Coordinate for LRP, Capacity planning to identify & resolve critical path/ bottlenecks in supply chain.
Demand Planning Process Management:Lead the Demand Planning process centrally, from initial forecast creation for 18 to 24 months horizon to final execution.
Organize and manage forecast review meetings and ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
Maintain and update planning systems to reflect current demand patterns and assumptions.
Review master data hygiene performance and ensure monthly planning runs execution as per defined calendar.
Collaboration:Work closely with Supply chain teams, BD and Project Management team to understand Commercial/Service/Developmental demand, and seasonal trends.
Gather and synthesize input from relevant stakeholders to adjust and optimize the demand planning process and its output.
Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and report on SCM KPIs such as OTIF, Backorder, Forecast Accuracy, Plan vs Actual
Analyze variances and implement corrective actions as needed in coordination with Site SCMReview & track action plans to achieve target for Inventory days & COPQ.
Process Improvement and Innovation:Continuously assess and improve the S&OP process to enhance its effectiveness, leveraging best practices and advanced planning tools (e.g., ERP systems, forecasting software).
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in supply chain technology to enhance S&OP capabilities.
Participate in design and implementation of the global supply chain strategy for Region.
Implement best supply chain practices to reduce COGS and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in design and drive for implementation of the SCM KPIs for Region.
