Role Overview

While specific domain expertise is not required, the Technical Business Analyst will work closely with Domain Experts to understand industry-specific requirements and ensure these are translated into effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, ensuring that all needs are thoroughly understood and documented.
• Process Mapping: Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization through software solutions.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), user stories, and functional specifications.

• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with software architects, developers, and UX/UI designers to ensure that business requirements are translated into functional, user-friendly software designs.
• User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Develop and refine user stories and acceptance criteria, guiding the development team to ensure that deliverables meet business needs.
• Project Management: Support the project management team in planning and tracking project progress, ensuring that milestones are met and issues are promptly addressed.

• UAT Coordination: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders, ensuring that the software meets the documented requirements and is fit for purpose.
• Feedback Loop: Gather and analyze feedback from users during the testing phase, working with the development team to implement necessary changes.

• Knowledge Transfer: Work alongside Domain Experts to understand industry-specific requirements and ensure these are accurately reflected in the software development process.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and proactively seek out opportunities to enhance your understanding of the domain.

• Training: Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users and internal teams.
• Post-Implementation Support: Provide support during and after software implementation to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.

• Business Analysis: Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements in a Software or SaaS environment.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Documentation Skills: Expertise in creating BRD, SRS, user stories, and other technical documentation.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to support project planning and execution.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with domain experts.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Software or SaaS industry.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or other software development methodologies.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
