The Role
As a Process Safety Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.- You will provide Technical Safety Engineering services to Worley, and its customers and may provide technical support within the Process team.
- With minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas industry for both onshore and offshore technical safety.
- Knowledge and extensive experience dealing with major projects within Oil and Gas industry handling risk-based decision making, qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, safety case development, human factors engineering, process safety performance management, safety system design, fire, explosion, and gas dispersion analysis.
- Well experience in management, planning, HSE engineering operations, problem solving, decision making in combining engineering and health and safety knowledge to ensure that chemicals, machinery, software, furniture, and other products do not harm people or damage property.
- Recent experience in using Shell DEPs, ADNOC CoP, PDO SPs, API, NFPA and IEC will be an advantage.
- Computer literate, proficiency in MS Office and technical software applications.
- Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading & reporting).
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 8-15 years experience in Process Safety design offshore / Refinery projects.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Developing skills in design software.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- A recognized Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Preferred Education :
- A recognized Degree in the Chemical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
