Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to successfully develop and implement security measures for ABB in your area of responsibility. Each day, you will protect ABB from rapidly escalating threats. You will also showcase your expertise by staying vigilant in combating security threats, taking charge of the organization’s cybersecurity, and keeping track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems that protect vital information are secured.

This role is contributing to the IS Services in India, Bangalore.
Vulnerability Management Program Oversight- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive vulnerability management program.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the
Tool Management and Integration
- Utilize Qualys and Defender for vulnerability scanning and management.
- Leverage ServiceNow for workflow management and tracking of vulnerability remediation.
- Maintain and update documentation on SharePoint.
- Integrate and utilize Vulcan, Brinqa, or similar tools for risk-based vulnerability management.
- Manage the Vulnerability Management team and end-to-end service deliveries
- Work closely with IT, security, and development teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Communicate risk and remediation status to stakeholders and executive management.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to address vulnerabilities exploited during security incidents.
- Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of the vulnerability management program.
- - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, or related roles.
- 3+ years of experience in managing service.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Qualys, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Brinqa, or similar tools, including hands-on experience with API calls.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, and ability to assess vulnerable transactions.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable, and ITILv4 is a must.
