Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications related to accounting software.
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and resolve issues.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into existing applications to enhance functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them in improving our software solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer, preferably within the accounting industry.
- Strong understanding of Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with databases, particularly SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
