#### **Job Summary**:

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will be responsible for providing clinical oversight, ensuring the highest standards of medical care for our international patients, and leading the medical strategy of the organization. As a key member of the executive team, the CMO will work closely with the CEO and Director of Partnerships to build and maintain relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and medical professionals worldwide.

The CMO will ensure that Healtour Solutions delivers quality medical outcomes while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in different regions.

#### **Key Responsibilities**:

  • **Medical Leadership**: Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for all healthcare services offered through Healtour Solutions.
  • **Partnership Development**: Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships to develop and manage relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics globally, ensuring the quality of medical services offered.
  • **Patient Safety & Quality Control**: Oversee and maintain medical protocols, ensuring patient safety and adherence to international healthcare standards.
  • **Medical Network Expansion**: Expand the network of healthcare providers by evaluating potential partners and ensuring their alignment with company standards.
  • **Clinical Strategy**: Develop and implement a clinical strategy to ensure patient-centered care, focusing on key specialties such as cardiac, oncology, fertility, orthopedics, and cosmetic surgery.
  • **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards across different countries, managing medical legal risks and addressing any malpractice concerns.
  • **Medical Staff Management**: Supervise and mentor medical consultants, patient care coordinators, and other medical staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • **Patient Consultation Oversight**: Provide expert guidance and medical consultation for international patients, assisting them in choosing the appropriate treatment options.
  • **Innovation in Healthcare**: Promote innovation by integrating new medical technologies and treatment options into Healtour Solutions offerings.
  • **Clinical Performance Monitoring**: Establish and oversee quality assurance programs to monitor patient outcomes, satisfaction, and clinical performance of partner hospitals and doctors.
  • **Crisis Management**: Manage complex medical cases and act as a clinical resource for resolving escalated patient care issues.

#### **Key Qualifications**:

  • **Education**: MBBS with advanced specialization (MD, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant field (such as Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopedics, etc.). An MBA or a healthcare management degree is a plus.
  • **Experience**: Minimum of 10-15 years of clinical experience, including significant leadership experience in a healthcare or medical tourism organization.
  • **Healthcare Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of various medical fields, including cardiac care, fertility treatments, oncology, cosmetic surgery, and orthopedic procedures.
  • **Partnership Development**: Experience in building and managing relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, and healthcare professionals internationally.
  • **Regulatory Knowledge**: Strong understanding of international healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and compliance.
  • **Leadership**: Proven ability to lead clinical teams, implement quality assurance programs, and drive medical excellence.
  • **Patient-Centered Focus**: Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused healthcare services.
  • **Global Experience**: Experience working in a global healthcare setting or in medical tourism, with exposure to different medical systems and cultural contexts.

#### **Preferred Qualifications**:

  • Existing relationships with hospitals and healthcare providers in key medical tourism destinations.
  • Familiarity with medical tourism trends and digital health platforms.
  • Experience in healthcare innovation and technology integration.
