Job Description
Key skills or qualifications required:
- Hearing Aid Products: Deep understanding of different types of hearing aids, their features, and how they address specific hearing challenges.
- Audiology Basics: Familiarity with audiology concepts and the hearing impairment landscape, enabling better communication with healthcare providers and customers.
- Sales Strategy: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets and objectives.
- Territory Management: Effective management of the sales area, including understanding local markets and customer needs.
- Target Achievement: Demonstrating a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer needs and delivering value through products and services.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area to meet with clients and sales teams.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree: In business administration, marketing, sales, audiology, or a related field. (ASM Chennai cannot accept commerce background degree)
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree (optional): May be preferred for larger territories or higher responsibility roles.
Experience:
- Sales Experience: Several years (typically 3-8+) of experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with hearing aids, audiology, or medical devices is often a key requirement.
- Team Leadership: Previous experience managing sales teams and distributors in a regional or area role.
- B2B Sales: Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales with clinics, hospitals, or audiologists.
