Job Title: Lead Copywriter & Brand Communications

Job Location: Bengaluru

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Lead Copywriter & Brand Communications to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for crafting compelling copy across multiple platforms while leading the development and execution of brand communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting Expertise: Produce concise, impactful copy for various brand assets, including baselines, employee branding initiatives, and communications.
  • Collaborative Campaign Execution: Work closely with the Internal Communications and Social Media teams to ideate, plan, and execute brand campaigns. Utilize data-driven insights to create compelling narratives and content that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Brand Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the goals of Biocon, ensuring consistent and engaging brand messaging.
  • Video Production: Lead the creation of corporate videos. Should have vast experience in scripting, overseeing filming and editing.
  • PowerPoint Presentations: Design and create high-quality, engaging presentations for Townhalls and other corporate events.
  • Leadership Communication: Partner with senior leadership to refine and evolve their communication strategies, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Design Leadership: Direct and collaborate with art directors and graphic designers to deliver world-class visual designs that support brand initiatives.
  • Internal Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to successfully execute branding and communication strategies.
  • Event Marketing: Develop and execute marketing collateral for events and pharma exhibitions, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
  • Content Production: Produce podcasts and vodcasts to further engage audiences and extend the reach of brand messages.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Brand and Communications roles, with a proven track record in leading successful branding initiatives.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro is a plus.
  • Educational Background: Bachelors or masters degree in communications, Marketing, or an MBA from a recognized institution.
  • Additional Experience: Experience working in an agency setting is highly valued.
  • Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with social media platforms and certifications in SEOs, Google AdWords or Analytics are desirable.
