Security Community Manager

LOCATION: India, Bangalore

AXA XL has an exciting opportunity for a communications expert to be responsible for the design, implementation and reporting of ongoing security awareness and behavioral activities within our IT organization.

AXA XL's IT Security team's role is to bridge the gap between Security policy and practical IT implementation. The Security Culture Communications & Engagement Lead is a new role in the team, whose mission is to support Global Technology team in building & sustaining secure habits & mindset through:

(1)Security Awareness to colleagues
  • You will be responsible end to end for strategy, planning, development as well as hands on execution of the Security Culture communication
  • You will work with the Security SMEs & Global Technology Leadership to define key messages, and use the appropriate methods to get them across to the 600 internal & 2200 external Global Technology Colleagues
  • You will work to understand your target audience and measure the impact of your activities to inform adjustments to your plans

.You will create & support others to create written and visual communication, such as e-mails, blog posts, presentations, posters, screen savers.

(2)Training materials maintenance and creation
  • You are going to be responsible for maintenance & future development where required of Security Culture Training Materials (currently developed using in Vyod tool)
  • You are going to maintain the existing Sharepoint site for training & awareness material, and define strategy for driving colleague engagement with the site
(3)Building & improving community engagement around security
  • You are going to be responsible for developing the Security Champions Community (selection of Global Technology team members from across the organization who are tasked with multiplying security knowledge in their teams)
.You are going to plan and facilitate (with the support of relevant experts) events such as Lunch &Learn, Workshops etc.
  • You are going to build a feedback loop into your process: use your understanding of what the community struggles with to inform the planned top-down communication efforts

(4)Strategy & impact measurement

.You are going to maintain and improve a process of regular monitoring of metrics that reflect XL's security culture. You are going to ensure XL Leadership has access to those metrics on a regular basis.
  • You are going to monitor the impact of your activities on the observed behaviours & act as advisor to GT & Security Leadership on what helps and what impedes from creating lasting behavioural change in the Global Technology community
.You are going to maintain a clear plan of your activities, and coordinate inputs of functions you require, including but not limited to Legal, HR, IT Security, Social Relations.
  • You will build relationships with functions such as Information Security and Service Management, to align the communication and training strategies

.You will continually review existing communication activities/content to assess and then improve its relevance to AXA XL and current IT Security trends and delivery effectiveness.

You will report within the AXA XL IT Security team, which is part of the AXA XL IT team.

SHARE your talent

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

.Experience in developing and executing communications plans.

.Experienced in developing training and awareness materials.Knowledge of the following tools would be benefical: SharePoint Vyond and VideoScribe.
  • Basic understanding how an Information Technology function in a company works, and curiosity to learn more about security & technology
  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Excellent written English skills
  • Ability to work independently and organize own work as well as work of others
  • Meeting facilitation skills
  • Community building & community engagement skills / experience

.Appropriate communication and/or marketing qualifications / experience.
