About Department:

TresVista is looking to hire Vice President(VP) for the Design Services department which comprises two main verticals: Graphic Design and Document Design, each with distinct roles and responsibilities. Both teams contribute to creating brand collaterals, marketing materials, templates, presentations, and content marketing.

The primary goal of this department is to offer graphic and document support to clients for their marketing and internal deck designs. The VP will work closely with the Operations team and assist them to glorify the output for the client. The VP must assume responsibility for the creative output of TresVista, maintaining standards for all communications and brand integrity through effective management of our talented design team.

Key Role Deliverables:

  • Works directly with clients and senior professionals across the firm to maintain the relationship
  • Brings in innovative ideas and applies them to add value to the work
  • Defines the scope of engagements, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery Ensures efficient and effective execution of all key aspects of client deliverables
  • Provides timely and continuous feedback for performance improvement and maintaining average project feedback of 4+ (out of 5)

Prerequisites:

  • Eye for detail and an ability to multi-task
  • Flair for creativity in design with the ability to take verbal information and turn concepts into functional designs
  • Dedication to exceed client's expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to maintain consistent corporate visual identity standards within TresVista and its clients
  • Demonstrates the ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of the team
  • Upgrade & upskill for effectively managing the overall process - possesses skills to establish, assess, modify/adjust, and routinely improve the process

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of approx. 15-16 headcount to achieve common goals
  • Working closely with Team Leads and guide them on day-to-day project management and delivery
  • Mentoring, training, and developing the team
  • Resolving staffing and workload management for the team
  • Recruitment, interviews, and trainings Realigning the team structure and developing a new team model
  • Transitioning the team from a cost center to revenue generating model
  • Providing leadership, motivation and mentoring to align the team with the departmental goals and ensure they have a robust performance management structure in place
  • Ensuring the team meets its monthly and annual objectives
  • Overseeing that new techniques and processes to provide the best quality of designs and process improvement

Technical skills required:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Experience:

7 - 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial service industry

Education:

Any graduate holding a relevant specialization in the design field
