About Showa:

Showa is a global leader in the manufacturing of high-quality safety gloves, specializing in innovative products that protect workers across various industries.

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of Showa gloves across India. This role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, managing and creating a team of sales representatives, building strong relationships with key customers, and expanding the distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

Develop and execute sales plans for Showa gloves to achieve revenue targets.

Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure they meet individual and team objectives.

Provide coaching, training, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients in the region.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential customers.

Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to maximize profitability.

Distribution Network Development:

Recruit and develop a network of distributors to expand market reach.

Provide training and support to distributors to ensure they effectively promote and sell Showa products.

Monitor distributor performance and address any issues promptly.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of Showa&aposs product range and their applications.

Effectively communicate the benefits and features of Showa gloves to customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor&aposs degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales in the safety equipment or industrial products industry with key category being gloves

Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.

Strong understanding of the Indian market and business landscape.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience in selling safety gloves to large corporates.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to safety equipment.

Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software.
