Job Description
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with new customers to generate new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the IT solutions industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
Skills:
- Sales and Negotiation Skills:
- Expertise in consultative selling and negotiating complex contracts.
- Ability to identify client needs, propose tailored solutions, and close deals effectively.
- Strategic Planning and Analysis:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Proficiency in market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend identification.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Capability to understand client requirements, provide solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams towards common goals.
- Ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to articulate value propositions convincingly.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of IT solutions, services, and products such as software applications, cloud computing, cybersecurity, etc.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their applications in business environments.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis to drive informed decision-making and sales strategies.
- Ability to identify opportunities, troubleshoot challenges, and propose innovative solutions.
- Networking and Industry Awareness:
- Proven ability to network within the industry, attend conferences and build partnerships.
- Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications (Preferred but not Mandatory):
- Professional certifications in Sales, Business Development, or related fields (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Certified Business Development Professional).
- Specific certifications related to IT solutions and technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Associate).
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development opportunities.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive client information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
