Assistant Technical Manager
Job Description
Overall responsible for soft services operations of the assigned facility. Direct the planning and delivery of all facility related and administrative support services and activities at the site/s. Day-to-day vendor management and oversight. Ownership of sites in their portfolio, from daily monitoring and delivery of Soft services as per SLA.HR oversight including staffing and employee development Recommendations. Financial performance, including review and approval of operating and capital budgets. Value-added services such as identifying savings opportunities Makes periodic inspections of the facility and equipment to determine if janitorial, pantry, and other services are adequate and whether repair work is needed; reviews safety and security equipment and procedures for adequacy.
Maintains compliance with departmental security, audit procedures, and management policy. Responsible for overall upkeep of the site to high standards of operations, maintenance and cleanliness as per SLA & SOW. Co-ordinate with OEM for service obligation as per AMCs & in case of breakdown of system.
Organize and coordinate formal monthly meetings with the client. Conduct formal monthly meetings with sub-contractors. Maintain and oversee inventory of HK. Toiletries and Pantry consumables. Ensure and oversee deployment, usage and maintenance of HK tools, machines and equipment deployed at site.
Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports for client(SIEL-S) as per the prescribe format. Coordinating for payments of the site contractors and sub vendors. Implementation of IMS systems and processes and maintain records for the operating unit.
Management of overall Engineering & Energy Management Operations for the account. Overseeing the facility maintenance management programme, as well as the performance of technical team. Guide the team in areas of operations and maintenance of Critical Equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other facility equipment and systems to achieve and exceed SLA and KPIs Manage all local planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with SLA, KPIs, and reporting requirement.
Train personnel and occupants in energy and sustainability practices Evaluate, analyse, and develop / provide consulting on energy and sustainability management programs Supply side management and Demand side management O&M consulting Energy efficient technology contracting of infrastructure systems Responsible for PPM and Breakdown maintenance of entire site utility equipment.Create SOPs, SPs, PPM Schedule & Log Sheets for utility equipment as required.
Monitor and Analyze parameters of all Utility equipment before and after PPM and Breakdown. Get Utility equipment relieved for PPM and Breakdown maintenance. Allocate man power for attending to PPM and breakdown. Provide tools, spares and consumables, PPEs, for smooth operation.Support and Supervise shut down activities. Keep equipment and work site clean and tidy. Report to Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer for any abnormalities Prepare MIS report. Identify Perform and Implement Energy Conservation & Cost Saving activities.
Train technicians and Engineering Assistants on PPM and Breakdown Maintenance of utility equipment and review their performance. Report Incidents, Accidents and implement Correction, Corrective Action & Improvement activities. Coordinate with AMC Suppliers and other vendors.
