The Sales Executive in this context is responsible for selling washers, hinges, investment casting.

  • Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for washers and fastening products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients across various industries.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage sales pipelines.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular
communication.
  • Provide product information, pricing, and technical support to customers.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and market
dynamics.
  • Stay updated with new washer types, technologies, and innovations.
Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise
  • Possess a deep understanding of different types of washers (e.g., flat washers,
lock washers, sealing washers) and their applications.
  • Educate customers on product specifications, materials, and suitability for their
needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to customize washer solutions for clients.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types of hinges (e.g., butt hinges,
continuous hinges, concealed hinges, heavy-duty hinges).
  • Understand technical specifications, applications, and advantages of the hinge
products sold by the company
  • Understanding of hinge products, materials (stainless steel, brass, aluminum, etc.),
and their uses in various industries.
  • Ability to explain product specifications to both technical and non-technical

customers.

Customer Service & Support
  • Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Address client queries, concerns, or complaints related to washers and fastening
products.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and production teams to ensure timely delivery.
Sales Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Update CRM systems with client interactions and sales activities.
  • Track orders, sales trends, and inventory levels.
  • Skills & Qualifications
Sales Skills
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the industrial, hardware, or
manufacturing sectors.
  • Ability to generate leads, cold-call, and close deals effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Product Knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of washers and related fastening products.
  • Familiarity with materials like stainless steel, copper, aluminum, rubber, and
nylon.
  • Technical acumen to understand product specifications and applications.
Communication
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical details to non-technical clients.
Customer Focus
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Problem-solving ability to meet customer needs and resolve issues quickly.
Business Acumen
  • Ability to analyze markets and competitors.
  • Familiar with pricing strategies, discount structures, and cost analysis.
Education
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is usually
preferred.
  • Certifications or training in sales techniques, technical products, or industrial
sectors could be beneficial.

Experience in sales within the hardware or manufacturing industries is often preferred.

Background in fastening solutions, industrial components, or hardware is a significant
