Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Associate with at least 2 years of experience in the digital marketing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building relationships with potential clients.

This role requires strong sales acumen, market knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to achieve business growth targets.

What do we want from you
  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the digital marketing space, focusing on potential clients such as small businesses, e-commerce brands, and large enterprises.
  • Develop and implement strategies to target potential clients, focusing on their marketing needs and business objectives. Present and sell digital marketing services to prospective clients.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers to ensure customer retention and repeat business.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential clients to stay ahead of market changes and better position the company's services.
  • Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of the company's digital marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with the marketing and project management teams to ensure smooth handover of clients and successful execution of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets by closing deals and driving business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking functions to promote the company's services and expand the brand's visibility.
  • Track sales performance, client feedback, and lead generation efforts. Prepare and submit regular reports to management on business development activities.
Who could you be
  • You should have at least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within the digital marketing industry.
  • You should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • You should have an understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, etc.) and how they drive business results.
  • You should have proven experience in lead generation, sales negotiations, and closing deals. Strong ability to influence and persuade clients.
  • You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different client needs and audiences.
  • You should have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • You should be comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • You should have the ability to work independently and take initiative to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • You should have the ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues and ensuring client needs are met.
