Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is looking for an Area Sales Manager based out of Delhi, responsible to generate business in Delhi with help of channel partners. The incumbent will be responsible to take care of all retail sales operations in the assigned territory such as driving revenue growth, payment collection from channel partners, manage key accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver the Revenue objectives for Yale Retail business as per plan; in the assigned territory
  2. Review performance of existing distribution channel and proactively highlight gaps to the manager
  3. Ensure identification of new channel partners as per company criteria to expand reach and counter presence
  4. Build and manage the demand generation for all product categories through planned activations in the retail market
  5. Identify key influences like carpenters and local contractors/ architects/ builders and ensure regular & structured engagement like product trainings, meets etc
  6. Support in working capital management by ensuring timely collection of outstanding.
  7. Formulating promotional activities as a part of brand building
  8. Organize structured sessions to ensure product knowledge to all stakeholders of channel partners
  9. Increase secondary sales by ensuring counter presence, territory reach, and visibility of our products where end customers visit frequently.
  10. Conduct continuous market analysis and support Area sales manager for forecasts and budgeting

Skills Required:

  1. Have functional knowledge of retail business preferably in building material industry
  2. Must have knowledge of Architect base in assigned territory
  3. Should maintain time discipline and strong work ethic
  4. Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  5. Should be responsive, organized and energetic
  6. Possesses a high level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities
  7. Shows high drive for results and execution excellence. Follows up with stakeholders till the result is achieved
  8. Develops partnerships, keeps stakeholders updated on progress of projects and activities on time
  9. Proficiency in MS excel and power point

Education Qualification & Experience required:

  1. Any Graduate
  2. 8-10 years previous total experience, with preferable exposure of Building Material Industry.

Additional Information:

Should be willing to travel extensively in the assigned territory to generate business.
