Roles and Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and testing methodologies with good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodology process and test management tools like JIRA.
• Proficient in test case design and reviews.
• Writing test plans and creating test cases.
• Preparation for the execution of the tests, including test scripts, business processes, and system setup.
• Test data setup for both positive and negative test cases before execution of the tests.
• Execution of the tests that have been planned in line with the relevant processes that have been defined.

Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

• Excellent knowledge in Test Automation and expertise in automating test cases using Selenium, Tosca, etc.
• Designing test automation framework from scratch.
• Convert test cases into test scripts using the Test Automation framework.
• Preparation of test reports and submission, including sign-off on quality.
• Working closely with the development team and taking initiatives to continuously improve knowledge of products/functionalities in the project.
• Follow the basic processes defined relevant to the work domain.
• Deep knowledge of best practices regarding system security measures and verification during the testing process.
• Ability to troubleshoot and highlight real issues to the development team.
• Adhere to schedules, processes, and standards for testing.
• Knowledge in Product Testing and End-to-End (E2E) Testing life cycles.
• Good understanding of integrated automation testing in CI/CD processes, including designing testing stages in CI/CD, quality gate-driven deployments, etc.
• Proven knowledge in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) (Good to have).
• Excellent communication skills, conveying messages clearly and concisely.
• Strong mentoring skills to guide junior team members in both technical and functional aspects, empowering them.
• Enthusiastic to learn new technologies and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC) for new tools and technologies.

Technology Skills:

• API Testing using tools like JMeter, SOAPUI.
• Selenium with Java.
• Good to Have: Knowledge in Python, Tosca Automation Tool, etc.
• CI/CD Tools like GitLab, Jenkins, etc.

Education: Bachelor&aposs Degree in related field
