Cell Development Engineers to join our team responsible for advancing lithium-ion cell technology for our portfolio of hybrid and electric vehicles. This role is crucial in managing the entire lifecycle of cell product development, from initial specifications to full-scale production, ensuring alignment with our high standards of performance, safety, and efficiency.

#Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of lithium-ion cells for hybrid and electric vehicles, ensuring all specifications and production goals are met.

• Serve as the primary liaison between OEM and Tier 1 lithium-ion cell manufacturers, facilitating communication and collaboration for production programs.
• Coordinate with Tier 1 suppliers to plan and execute cell product development, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), and support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Manage and predict battery life through advanced modeling techniques to ensure long-term performance and reliability.
• Evaluate lithium-ion battery manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with quality and production standards.
• with cross-functional teams to support battery pack design and release engineering, ensuring seamless integration and performance of the battery systems.

# Basic Qualifications:

• Master's degree in chemical engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent field.
• In-depth understanding of energy storage systems and vehicle electrification technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.
• Familiarity with electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), along with relevant industry practices and standards.
• Knowledge of DVP&R and DFMEA processes for ensuring robust and reliable product development.
