Product Manager - PayOps

Our FinTech business unit – with teams in Amsterdam, London, Shanghai and Bangalore – develops new products and drives innovation to help us continue removing financial friction from the travel process. That makes buying and selling travel-related products and services simpler for both travelers and partners.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Financial Systems division within our Fintech business unit. You will be a part of the Finance Partner Services track where we aim at creating a frictionless experience between our company and our partners in managing their finances.As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of internal PayOps tool used by Booking.com employees to serve our partners. By collaborating closely with engineering, design, and operations teams, you play a pivotal role in helping us shape our ambitions by creating a seamless and efficient, and scalable payment operations platform that enhances partner satisfaction and operational excellence.
Role Overview :
- Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product area to ensure alignment with the department and company strategy.
- Lead a portfolio of new product launches, technical migrations as well as product optimisations;
- Define the KPIs for your product, and be the ultimate responsible for its success;
- Leverage data analytics to track product performance, identify trends, and measure user adoption.
- Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and make data-backed recommendations.
- Research and identify partner and stakeholder needs and effectively manage their expectations;
- Work closely with a cross-functional team and stakeholders across the business to build and operate your product;
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams.
- Gather feedback and insights from stakeholders to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
- Effectively communicate product updates, progress, and roadmaps to stakeholders.
- Engage with other product leaders within Booking.com to define and drive the development priorities for your product.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience;
- A track record for shipping large-scale, successful software products;
- Ability to communicate optimally across all levels of the organization;
- Strong stakeholder management and agile prioritization skills;
- Proficiency in product discovery and product delivery techniques;
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, and a basic technical understanding of how large-scale systems are built;
- Fintech experience is a plus.
