The Assistant Operations Manager in the hospitality industry supports the daily operations of the hotel, restaurant, or resort, ensuring smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing operational processes, handling guest concerns, and improving service standards to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.

Core Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Assist in overseeing daily operations in departments such as Purchase, Sales & Stores.
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments for seamless service delivery.
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and procurement for efficient operations.
- Implement operational policies to maintain high service standards.
- Guest Experience & Satisfaction
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest feedback and work on service improvements.
- Ensure VIP guests receive personalized attention and high-quality service.
- Staff Supervision & Training
- Assist in scheduling and managing staff shifts.
- Train and mentor new employees on service standards, SOPs, and company policies.
- Support team performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Financial & Revenue Management
- Assist in cost control and budget management for operational expenses.
- Support sales and revenue-enhancing initiatives, such as upselling and promotional activities.
- Monitor daily revenue reports and operational costs to ensure profitability.
- Compliance & Safety
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with local hospitality laws and company policies.
- Technology & Process Improvement
- Assist in implementing new technologies to enhance operational efficiency (e.g., PMS, POS systems).
- Identify areas for process improvements and recommend solutions.
What We Are Looking For
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and secure favorable terms with suppliers. Exceptional analytical skills to assess market conditions, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.Proficiency in procurement software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience- 3 years of experience in procurement.
Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
