We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer - MongoDB Database Engineer to join our team in Bangalore

Your Role Responsibilities Here's What You'll Do- Develop Self Managed MongoDB databases in Kubernetes in Multi Cloud (EKA,AKS, GKE and OKE) Environments.
- Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability through indexing, query optimization, and database tuning.
- Manage MongoDB Ops Manager and handle data replication across data centers.
- Implement security measures such as Kerberos or LDAP for authorization and authentication.
- Collaborate with development teams to define database architecture and data models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and replication problems.
- Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patches with L2/L3 on call support.
- Work with cross-geographical R&D engineering.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members.
- Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations.
- Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
- Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks )
- Collaborate with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
- 8+ years of experience in database engineering or administration with hands-on experience in MongoDB.
- Proficiency in managing RDS services on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Experience with Altas MongoDB, Ops Manager, MongoDB Enterprise
- Experience with database design principles and normalization techniques.
- Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for automation.
- Certifications in MongoDB, Kubernetes & database technologies.
