Position Title: Restaurant Unit ManagerLocation: (Medavakkam,Velachery,Porur,Siruseri,Thoraipakkam)
Reports To: Operation Manager / Area Manager
Job Overview:The Restaurant Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food quality standards, and managing the staff. The role demands leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of the business to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities.1.
Operations Management- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of food, service, and overall customer experience.2.
- Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including kitchen and front-of-house employees.
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak and non-peak hours.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and service quality.3.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure a welcoming environment and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Address any issues related to customer service, and implement strategies to improve the overall guest experience.4.
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.5.
- Implement local marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.- Strong leadership and management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Knowledge of restaurant management software and financial principles.- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.- Customer-oriented with a high level of attention to detail.7.
Education and Experience:- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred).- 3+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.8.
