Key Responsibilities:

• Pharmacy Healthcare Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of claims processing, adjudication, and regulatory compliance in the healthcare pharmacy industry.
• Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for claim processing, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards. Oversee the creation and execution of test plans for end-to-end processing including data setup, plan configuration, eligibility, claims processing workflows, including claim submission, adjudication, payment processing, and other downstream processing. Define testing objectives, scope, and schedules in line with project milestones and timelines.
• Test Execution and Management: Manage end-to-end test execution, ensuring the claims processing system works flawlessly across various modules, including claims intake, eligibility verification, coding validation, reimbursement processing. Manage both functional and non-functional testing. Coordinate with functional leads, business analysts, and developers to ensure all requirements are covered during testing phases.
• Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead, mentor, and support a team of QA engineers, testers, and subject matter experts with a focus on claims processes. Participate in resource capacity planning and work assignment. Ensure the team adheres to best practices, methodologies, and standards for testing in a regulated healthcare environment. Provide timely status reports and escalate issues when needed, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Defect Management and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate processing within the system. Ensure testing documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive, including defect logs, test cases, and coverage matrices.
• Ensure all test activities comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, particularly in the US Pharmacy Benefits domain, with a focus on Pharmacy Claims management. 5 years in a leadership role.
• Pharmacy Healthcare Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of US Pharmacy Healthcare industry standards, including pharmacy claims lifecycle, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and compliance (HIPAA, etc.).
• End-to-End Testing Experience: Proficiency in performing end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing, from requirements through deployment.
• Testing Tools: Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Automation Experience: Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Gherkin, etc.) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide clear, actionable insights during the testing process.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of testing activities.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document test results, communicate defects, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
