Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and results-oriented IT PMO Lead to oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) for a global ERP and CRM transformation initiative. This critical role will ensure the successful delivery of a highly complex program involving Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Darwinbox, Payroll, Anaplan, Power BI, and related technologies.

The IT PMO Lead will own the end-to-end governance, project management framework, and reporting processes while leveraging tools such as Jira and Confluence to enable seamless collaboration and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Governance and Framework Development
  • - Establish and maintain robust program governance structures, policies, and frameworks for the ERP/CRM implementation.
  • - Define and standardise project management methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • - Develop tools and templates for project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Tool Implementation and Optimisation
  • - Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Jira and Confluence, tailoring workflows to the programs unique requirements.
  • - Ensure these tools are used effectively across all workstreams for tracking milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • - Train and enable project teams to maximise productivity and collaboration using Jira and Confluence.
  • Portfolio Management and Resource Planning
  • - Manage the program portfolio, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across multiple interdependent projects.
  • - Track progress across workstreams, identifying critical path items and mitigating delivery risks.
  • - Monitor resource utilisation and adjust priorities to ensure timely project completion.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
  • - Provide timely and transparent updates to senior leadership, program sponsors, and steering committees.
  • - Develop and maintain dashboards, status reports, and program-level KPIs in Power BI and Jira.
  • - Facilitate regular program reviews, highlighting risks, dependencies, and progress.
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • - Proactively identify, document, and resolve program risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • - Escalate critical concerns to appropriate stakeholders while ensuring alignment on mitigation plans.
  • - Implement contingency planning to manage unforeseen challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement and Best Practices
  • - Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and across the broader program team.
  • - Regularly review and refine processes to ensure they remain efficient and fit for purpose.
  • - Benchmark PMO practices against industry standards to maintain a high level of delivery excellence.
  • Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • - Project/Program Management Expertise: 10+ years of experience in IT program management, with a focus on ERP/CRM implementations.
  • - Tools Proficiency: Deep expertise in Jira and Confluence for program tracking, collaboration, and reporting.
  • - Global Experience: Proven success managing programs across multiple geographies and business units.
  • - Technical Acumen: Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Darwinbox, Payroll, Anaplan, and Power BI is a strong advantage.
  • - PMO Leadership: Experience in setting up and scaling PMOs for large, complex transformation initiatives.
  • - Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, CSM) are a plus.
  • - Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
