Job Description

• Engineering Leader DevOps plays a crucial role in leading the DevOps team and driving the implementation of continuous integration and delivery practices.
• This position is pivotal in aligning engineering processes with the organization's business objectives and ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee the development and operation of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation, efficiency, and scalability.
• Establish best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting across the infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps culture and practices across engineering teams.
• Manage the budget, resources, and timelines for DevOps projects.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident response and resolution efforts to maintain high availability of systems.
• Collaborate with product management to align DevOps initiatives with product roadmaps.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and infrastructure.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and performance management of the DevOps team.
• Contribute to the overall engineering leadership and strategic direction.
• Identify and drive initiatives for continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align DevOps strategies with business goals.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• With minimum experience of 18 yrs in software engineering.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a DevOps or infrastructure engineering team.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with infrastructure as code techniques using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Thorough understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Proven track record of driving cultural and organizational change towards DevOps practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and project management.
• Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
