ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases following the instruction from European Quality Insurance
- Design and implement automated testing strategies to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure minimal defects in production.
- Collaborate with European development teams to identify and resolve issues swiftly.
- Analyze project requirements to develop comprehensive testing strategies.
- Execute performance and load tests to identify potential bottlenecks.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead bug triage sessions, prioritizing issues based on project timelines and impact.
- Ensure formal documentation of the features with the support of the team.
- Collaborate with the Manager Test and European Quality Insurance to ensure the best product quality.
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS- Strong background in automated testing tools and frameworks (Java), performance testing (JMeter) or documentation management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in regression testing and maintenance of test suites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of development processes and test phases, including dataset creation for the different environment (Development, Staging, Testing, Pre-Production, Production)
- At least 5 years of experience as a quality insurance in manual/ automation/ performance testing
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, aeronautical, meteorological, or similar field.
- Knowledge in C++ REST API, QT or Angular (as a tester)
- Proficiency in advanced debugging techniques and tools.
- Team management
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems in the aeronautical industry
